when I’m gone

About Two days later, at the crack of dawn
Shortly after the time you find that I’m gone
And you sit there gathering your thoughts and senses
As the water on the window pane slowly condenses

And you finally realise that i will not come again
Don’t let your thoughts wander, don’t let your eyes rain
Don’t cover your beautiful face with your soft hands
Think of it as a shortcoming that time demands

And as you lift your head in despise and vain
With a slow brush of your hand over our photo frame.
Recollect the moments that made you feel this way
They will tell you more about me than I could ever say
